The Bakery and Donut Trailer 20ft Concession Food Trailer, manufactured by Biz On Wheels (Model BOW20873-BK), is a fully equipped mobile bakery designed for high-volume production, retail display, and professional food service. Built to support donut concepts, bakeries, dessert operations, and specialty pastry menus, this trailer delivers commercial-grade performance, excellent customer visibility, and long-term reliability.
With a spacious interior, powerful utilities, and premium finishes, this bakery and donut trailer is ideal for festivals, food truck parks, catering events, and permanent or semi-permanent locations where presentation and efficiency matter.
Trailer Size & Structural Design
The trailer measures 20 feet long, 8.5 feet wide, and 7.5 feet high, providing generous interior space for baking equipment, prep stations, refrigeration, and service flow. The 20ft length allows for clear separation between production, display, sanitation, and storage areas, improving workflow and reducing congestion during busy service periods.
The trailer is built on dual 6,000 lb axles with electric brakes, offering strong load capacity, stable towing, and dependable braking performance. This axle setup is well suited for the weight of commercial bakery equipment and supports frequent transport between locations.
Exterior Construction & Branding
The exterior features a screw-less, glue-on body construction, delivering a clean, modern appearance while enhancing structural integrity and weather resistance. This construction method minimizes vibration, eliminates exposed fasteners, and contributes to long-term durability.
An all-LED lighting system is installed throughout the trailer, providing bright, energy-efficient illumination for both interior operations and exterior service areas.
Power & Climate Control
The trailer is powered by a quiet 11KW diesel generator, professionally installed to deliver reliable electrical power for baking equipment, refrigeration, lighting, ventilation, and climate control. The diesel generator is designed for continuous commercial use and supports long service days without performance drop-off.
For interior comfort and temperature stability, the trailer is equipped with a mini split air conditioning system rated at 27,000 BTU with two independent zones. This dual-zone setup ensures consistent cooling across production and service areas, protecting ingredients, equipment, and staff comfort during extended operating hours.
Customer Service & Display
The bakery and donut trailer features two large service openings:
- A 72” x 36” serving window with an awning door for customer ordering and pickup
- An 84” x 36” display window with an awning door, ideal for showcasing donuts, baked goods, and menu items
This dual-window layout enhances customer flow and creates strong visual engagement, allowing products to be displayed clearly while maintaining efficient service.
The trailer also includes a 30” x 72” entry door with a screen, providing easy staff access, ventilation, and pest control during service.
Cooking, Ventilation & Safety
The trailer is equipped with a stainless steel hood system with an exhaust fan and make-up air, designed to properly manage heat, steam, and odors generated by bakery and donut equipment. This ventilation system supports safe operation and compliance with health and fire codes.
A fire suppression system is integrated into the hood assembly, providing essential protection for staff, equipment, and the trailer during daily operation.
Interior Construction & Flooring
The interior is finished with all stainless steel walls, creating a durable, hygienic workspace that meets the demands of commercial baking environments. Stainless steel surfaces are easy to clean, resistant to heat and moisture, and built for long-term use.
